Masquerades and masks have always had an element of secrecy. This year's theme will explore the Esoteric and Occult underbelly of the 1920s. Along with the illicit speakeasies and gin joints of the roaring '20s, secret societies, spiritualism, Hellenic cults, the Illuminati, and an obsession with retrofuturism, cosmic horror, and the unknown all flourished in the early decades of the 20th Century.
A lavish night of decadence, dancing, and entertainment for the mind and the senses. As always, the theme is intended to inspire, not constrain - you may wear anything you desire, and although masks are encouraged they are optional. This is an inclusive social event that celebrates friendship, creativity, consensual interactions, participation, dressing up, and having fun!
